When you click a button or move the analog stick, the graphic above illuminates or displays your analog stick movement. When we detect motion or a button push, we will display a “Controller Detected” message along with the name of your controller. If you have numerous controllers or gamepads attached, test them one at a time.

Although the graphic depicts an Xbox controller, this test is also applicable to other similarly designed controllers.

Why is my controller not connecting to the PC?

If your controller is not connecting to PC then you should check these things:
1. The USB port is working properly.
2. Controller drivers are updated.
3. There is no battery or power issue with the controller.

Why is the gamepad button response delayed?

Reasons for gamepad button response delay:
1. Browser or system speed is slow.
2. Controller drivers are not updated.
3. There is a hardware problem with the controller.

How to fix controller drift?

If your controller is giving input without touching the analog, then you are experiencing controller drift. There are two main causes of controller drift: a dirty analog stick or a damaged potentiometer.
We recommend that you try cleaning your controller before you get it repaired or buy a new one. To clean the analog stick, gently wipe around the analog stick with a dry cloth or use a cotton swab. If some of the dirt is not coming out of the cotton swab, use pressurized air.
